Reuniting with co-writer Andrew Aydin and artist Nate Powell, the book focuses on key events in the Civil Rights Movement during the early '60s, including Lewis's historic speech on the footsteps of the Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington in August 1963.

According to Publishers Weekly, the new volume will be significantly longer than Book One.

The first volume focused on Lewis's youth in rural Alabama, his meeting with Martin Luther King Jr and his subsequent involvement in non-violent student protests.

The bestselling March: Book One has been nominated for three Eisner Awards and received Special Recognition from the Robert F Kennedy Book Award.

March: Book Two will be released in early 2015.
