Chalk one up for user-generated content. Mobile game publisher Cartoon Network Games has just released Adventure Time Game Wizard, a new app that lets users draw their own Adventure Time game levels.

Powered by St. Louis, Missouri-based Pixel Press’s capture technology, players can draw video game levels with a pencil on special sheets of downloadable grid paper that are then scanned into the platform. Users can then bring the game design to life on a mobile device, where it can be played, shared with friends, and published online.

The user-generated levels become part of the app’s story, where Finn and Jake happen upon a magical sketchbook (belonging to brand-new character, the mysterious Doodle Wizard) and quickly discover that anything drawn in the book comes to life.

Adventure Time Game Wizard is available now for US$4.99 on the Apple App Store, Google Play and Amazon, and a full starter kit with tutorial and special branded paper is available at www.atgamewiz.com.

Adventure Time mobile games are proven performers for the network, with both Adventure Time: Card Wars and Beemo ranking as #1 apps in the Apple App Store. Additionally, the most popular gaming franchise on CartoonNetwork.com is Game Creator, with more than 2.6 billion total game plays, including Lego Game Creator introduced last September.
