Verizon announces Motorola DROID Turbo

Motorola’s DROID Turbo is the new smartphone exclusive for Verizon customers. With DROID Turbo, Motorola will be going head on into flagship war. Available in stores from 30th of October, DROID Turbo will cost $199.99 for 32GB model and $249.99 for 64GB model. Both prices come with two year plan. DROID Turbo is built on Moto X but thanks to a new back panel, the phone looks even better than Moto X. At launch Turbo will be running Android 4.4 OS and is eligible for upgrade to Android 5 Lollipop. Turbo is equipped with Turbo Charge technology. 15 minute charging of battery will give 8 hour battery life.

Turbo comes with a 5.2” Quad HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 805 chip with 2.7GHz quad core processor with 3GB of RAM. Camera is bumped up to 21mp and can record videos at 4k resolution. Similar to most Motorola phones, Turbo comes with water repellent nanocoating that protects the phone against spills. The back panel has kevlar fiber or ballistic nylon giving it that sturdy yet modern look.
