4th and Twenty – The Hail Mary in Week 9

It’s game time so there might be some players that could potentially put up big number in week 9 so it’s time to kick off a new section for starts called 4th & Twenty for owners looking for a Hail Mary. Often there are weeks where owners don’t have any other option or are looking for that one big long shot that could take them into the promise land, and these players can fit the bill. Here are the week 9 fantasy football 4th & Twenty starts.

Week 9 Deep Sleepers

Jarvis Landry – He is playing against the Chargers, which allow the most returns in the NFL. This is one of the top returners in the NFL today so there is a good chance that he breaks one today. He is also getting more consistent in the passing game so he is getting a lot of opportunities today. For return leagues, this is almost a lock.

Andrew Hawkins – He has been one of the top receivers for the Browns all year and should be a nice addition to the lineup today versus a week Jags secondary, who give up the most fantasy points to wide receivers.

Juwan Thompson – He doesn’t get the bulk of the carries, but he makes the most of what he gets. There is a good chance that he scores in this game so if you are in a standard league, he is worth a look.

Jonas Gray – He continues to be the lead back for the Pats, but that offense is hard to predict. However, the weather there may suggest a heavy run game, but again, they often buck the trend.
