Square Off Against Geometry Wars 3 In November

by Mike Futter on Oct 09, 2014 at 07:07 AM

Activision has announced the released date for Lucid Games’ Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions. The first title published under the resurrected Sierra Games label will be out in November.

Geometry Wars 3 features a single-player campaign, cooperative play, and competitive modes. You can read our hands-on impressions from PAX.

You can also check out an interview from Gamescom, in which we discuss the future of the label. If you’re interested in King’s Quest, it might be worth your time. Geometry Wars 3 arrives on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 25. Xbox players will have access on November 26.

Our Take
While I have been aware of Geometry Wars since its inception, I’ve never spent a significant amount of time with the games. I suspect that will change when Lucid Games’ take on the franchise comes out in November. I’ve enjoyed what I played so far and reluctantly put the controller down at PAX.
