Rupert Murdoch, the newly-married media tycoon, recently put his West Village townhouse on the market.

The 25-foot-wide, four-bedroom house is on West 11th Street and borders the private Bleecker Gardens. It's across the street from Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's house and includes an elevator, gym, roof deck, and wine cellar. Last April, Murdoch paid $25 million for the 1853 greek revival property (which once operated as a bed and breakfast), so he stands to make a hefty profit if the place sells for close to its $28.9 million asking price.
