A mobile home has been destroyed by severe storms in Ninnekah.

As a tornado warned storm moved through Grady County Friday afternoon a mobile home on Sooner Road in Ninnekah was hit. Several other homes in the area where also damaged by the storm.

One family's life in Ninnekah was turned upside down after this reported tornado.

"I still don't think it's sinked in yet. It's hard to phantom when you see your home strung out 100 yards and everything you had." said Kris Allen, the father of the home.

The Allen family was at a public shelter when the severe weather struck. Upon return, Allen along with his wife and six kids looked down the street in awe as damage could be seen all the way down the street.

A mattress was strung on some power lines and the Allen family's belongings were all over the road. The family's cat did not survive the reported tornado, but luckily no one else was injured.

There was even more destruction reported nearby on Chisolm Trail Road.

The Grady County Sheriff's Office says that no injuries have been reported in the area and the Grady County Emergency Management continues to urge residents to stay in their homes unless they absolutely have to be out in the area.
