Prince Harry discusses psychological stress of combat: 'there have been images I have been unfortunate to see'

Prince Harry recently visited schoolchildren in Wokingham, west of London, as part of filming for a television show.

Students at Lambs Lane Primary School also met with competitors involved in the Invictus Games, a sports event featuring military personnel who returned from their service injured or sick.

The Prince told Sky that he hoped the open-mindedness of the children will help to "completely smash the stigma that surrounds prostheses and disabilities as a whole" that prevailed in previous generations.

He also said he could understand the psychological impact of conflict from his own experience, with a "percentage of me being able to relate to exactly what they go through."

"There are images that I have been lucky enough not to see, but there have been images I have been unfortunate to see," he said.

"Nothing like some of these guys, but, yes, there is a percentage of me being able to relate to exactly what they go through."
