Not everyone goes to the trouble of composing cover art for a 175-word microfic piece...

...but today I do. Even though I wrote this little piece before going to sleep, I still woke up with the urge to produce something creative.

You should click through and read. Despite what happens in the story, this was soothing for me, because I integrated a little piece of my childhood into it. It was a pretty pleasant experience overall. In fact, I'm smiling right now and have that feeling you get when you're remembering your life as a small child and it's bittersweet---mostly sweet, what bitter there is, is far in the background of memory.
