Description
In not so many years this stairs will have no memory. Not that they have memories but they will fall from our memories. You see these stairs were built by my father with his father (my grandfather) out on the Billington sea. It's not a real sea but a lake down in Plymouth Massachusetts. The lake and it's islands are now a part of Morton Park. But in days gone past this island was owned by Benjamin Seymore who owned back in the 1700s. He raised crops and animals on the island and built the first building on the island. later generations enlarged the camp buildings into several nice camp houses. I was too young for much of a memory there but I do remember falling off the dock into about 1-2 feet of water while sailing my little plastic sailboats. I was only 2 yrs old but someone must of rescued me because I'm still here to tell the tail. The island remains in our memory even though my sister and I never speant much time there before it was given back to the town of Plymouth. But I traveled there with my cousin and we walked the island trying to place where the house was back in the 1970s. It was burned down by vandels in the mid-70s but even today you can still find a shard of pottery and I found a juice glass that my father says was what he drank from as a child. . #Vistaphotography, #JeffFolger,
