Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy video game returns

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy game embarks on its next chapter on Saturday with the launch of a new online game.

The updated version has been made to coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the award-winning game, 36 years to the day since the programme's first-ever radio broadcast.

Game developer Sean Solle told the Today programme how the new software makes use of technological developments, but retains the look of the original.

The first two series of the radio programme will be aired on BBC Radio 4Extra from 6pm this evening.
