TV cameras on the Fox broadcast during Sunday’s game in San Francisco picked up sound of Green Bay linebacker Clay Matthews shouting at Kaepernick: “You ain’t Russell Wilson, bro.”
Matthews’ comment came in the fourth quarter of the Packers’ 17-3 win.
Perhaps symbolizing the 49ers’ offensive ineptitude, Matthews produced a third-down sack of Kaepernick in the third quarter and celebrated by “Kaepernicking,” with Matthews kissing his own right biceps.
Matthews said it was not planned and all in fun.
