Focusing on the Builder of the Web – That’s You – at APIDays Berlin

By David Knight |

The programmable web is changing everything – that’s what the organisers of the APIDays Berlin say. Their event will kick off Berlin Web Week on May 5 and 6 as part of a global conference tour which is spreading the word on APIs.

It will focus in on topics including the APIs themselves, the API economy, cloud computing, big data and, of course, the Internet of Things.

Confirmed speakers announced so far include big names from the community such as API evangelist Kin Lane, Barndur Leach of Heroku and Romain Huet, platform relations manager at Twitter, with more to come.

Alongside Berlin, the tour will also take in San Francisco, Austin, Paris, Dublin, Barcelona, Cairo, Moscow and Tokyo. Companies who will bring their APIs to the event in Berlin include SoundCloud, EyeEm, Dropbox, SendGrid, ING and Salesforce.

The APIDays event takes place at betahaus near Moritzplatz, and you can get a 20 percent discount on your ticket here by using the code APIFriends.
