PICO RIVERA – Coroner’s officials have identified the man fatally shot during the weekend as a 23-year-old Pico Rivera resident.
An autopsy was supposed to be conducted Wednesday on Paul Anthony Martinez.
Martinez was driving when another vehicle pulled up and an occupant of that car shot him, according to Craig Harvey, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.
The shooting happened on Beverly Boulevard and Pine Street just after 7 p.m. April 12.
Martinez was taken to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center where he died at 7:50 p.m., Harvey said.
There was no suspect information available.
Homicide investigators didn’t return phone calls.
