Restaurateur Zachary Bruell just opened his seventh Cleveland restaurant, Kafeteria, in the former BP Building on Cleveland's Public Square.

CLEVELAND, Ohio --
latest restaurant venture quietly debuted in downtown Cleveland this week. Kafeteria opened on the 3rd floor of 200 Public Square, the former BP Building in the heart of the city.
Office workers, including the building's 2,400 employees, and others visiting downtown will be able to have lunch at the casual, self-serve eatery in one of the city's most prominent addresses.
The new 8,500 square foot food-service center features an array of stations that serve soups, salads, wood-fired pizzas, smoothies and juices, espresso, a grill area, and grab-and-go food options for time-pressed workers.
Grill items, most of them priced in the $6.50 to $9 range, include sandwiches such as coffee-braised pork; chicken quesadillas; the Middle Eastern-style falafel-stuffed pita, or a Reuben-style Kafeteria Burger topped with swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing. Salad bar offerings, sold by the pound, range from standard protein toppings such as marinated grilled chicken breast or hard-cooked eggs to vegetarian fare like curry seared tofu or Lentils with tomato, red onion, Olive Oil, or Quinoa and Wheatberries.
Complete meals, served at the Braised station, several pasta dishes, and wood-fired pizzas (sausage, pepperoni, vegetable, white and cheese varieties) round out the menu -- along with a diverse selection of side dish options, soups, salads and beverages.
The restaurant will eventually expand its offerings to include breakfast fare, says spokeswoman Jamie Dalton.
One of the city’s most prolific restaurateurs, Bruell operates or partners in six other restaurants — Parallax, L’Albatros Brasserie, Table 45, Chinato, Cowell & Hubbard and Dynomite — all of them within the boundaries of Cleveland. Three of those businesses have opened in the past four years.
