The 50 states that make up America each have their own unique character, which is part of what makes this country such a great place: no matter who you are, there's probably a state that's got the right attitude/personality for you -- except North Dakota, because no human could ever be that cold and empty.

Reddit user CertDenied recently tapped into the states-as-people concept by posing this AskReddit question: if the United States was a bar, what would each state be doing and/or drinking? The comments that followed were simultaneously harsh, funny, and incredibly spot on, and we decided to share the best ones below.
