Master the art of content marketing at this fun and informative workshop with senior journalism lecturer Wendy Sloane. Over the course of the day, you’ll learn how to build stronger connections with your customers and increase the quality of your online content – from blogposts to social media and multimedia.

You’ll also improve your copywriting skills during practical exercises, and learn how to make your content more searchable through search engine optimisation (SEO). Whether you run your own business or create online content for a company, you’ll leave with a newfound confidence in your ability to create high-quality copy and build your brand through fantastic online content.

  • Practical copywriting exercises – with opportunity for feedback on work carried out during the class

Please note this class is ideal for people with some experience of writing for a company website or blog – this is not a beginner’s class and does not include technical training on building websites

  • Ahead of the course, you’re encouraged to send us a short email outlining your experience and any goals you’re working towards, so that Wendy can tailor the course as much as possible to the group’s needs

Tutor profile

Wendy Sloane has been a journalist for over 25 years, and has extensive experience writing for magazines, newspapers and websites. In 2010, she joined London Metropolitan University as a senior lecturer in journalism. She is particularly passionate about helping her students develop their writing and multimedia skills for blogs and websites, enabling them to better compete in today’s fast-changing market.
