This past Saturday I made my stance on Leslie Knope's feelings on the hit Broadway musical Hamilton very clear.
I wrote some fanfiction about it, as you do.
Sometimes you love two things with such fervor that they become one in your heart.
At one point Madeleine Albright gave her tacit approval.
Later in the week, Twitter user @emilyisanelf picked up the ball and started tweeting like she was running out of time.
That got Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda's attention, and the rest was history.
Suddenly many more people were weighing in on the intersections of the universes of Hamilton and Parks and Recreation.
Clearly Parks and Recreation will never truly die.
As the Internet has proven before, after all, both Hamilton and Parks quotes apply to virtually every situation one can find in life.
The wisdom in both is eternal.
Eventually the creators and cast members of both parties joined in with their own ideas.
Hamilton even got approval from the goddess herself.
*ANGELICA VOICE* TO YOUR UNIOOOOON.
UPDATE: It should be noted that the Parks-And-Hamilton Tumblr — originally inspired by this tag — predates the Twitter hashtag. Further proof that these two have always been made for each other.
