Starbucks Applies for Alcohol Permit for Reston Location

"Starbucks Evenings" is a new campaign to sell beer, wine and small plates to make locations more of a nighttime hangout spot.

A handful of Northern Virginia Starbucks locations may soon be able to sell beer and wine as part of a campaign aimed at turning certain Starbucks sites into coveted evening hangout spots.

As part of the “Starbucks Evenings” campaign, the coffee shops will start selling beer and wine as part of its evening menu.

“We’ve always been your neighborhood morning stop—a place to help you start your day. Now we’re bringing a little delight to your evenings too,” reads the Starbucks website.
