This article is more than 8 years old

We’d like to see pictures of the small spaces that are part of your lifestyle – and how you’ve made the most of them

Making the most of small spaces can be the key to enjoying modern life for many of us, whether we live in the city or the country.

A small space or can bring its own challenges when it comes to DIY or decoration at home, but creativity can also lead to some of the most interesting and ingenious projects in other areas of our lives.

We’d like to see your pictures of the small spaces you’ve made look fabulous or improved upon with a little thought. It doesn’t have to be part of where you live: maybe you’ve spruced up a camper van or beach hut, or simple garage or shed? At home, perhaps it’s a cupboard under the stairs or converted attic? We’d even like to see how you might have made the most of a small bathroom or toilet.

We’ll feature some of the best images and stories as part of a feature to be published in the Guardian in May.

You can share your images by clicking on the blue GuardianWitness buttons on this article.
