A year ago we bought a little Spanish bungalow with a mostly flat roof. We love it's charm but wonder if we should put back the roof tiles that were removed some years back? They were on the left of the rounded entrance and just provided a continuous row across the left flat edge; decorative only. Any thoughts Houzzers?

Let your region and weather dictate your roof style when building. You'll be thankful in the long run.

Some advantages to a shed roof are; one run of guttering and just basic shingling skill because of no valleys / ridges.
