In trading on Thursday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Caledonia Mining (CALVF), down about 8.3% and shares of Comstock Mining (LODE) off about 7.3% on the day.
Also lagging the market Thursday are railroads shares, down on the day by about 1% as a group, led down by Union Pacific Corporation (UNP), trading lower by about 1.7% and Norfolk Southern Corporation (NSC), trading lower by about 1.6%.
