Remember when tweezers were your BFF and Posh Spice was the epitome of #browgoals? Or have you blocked that from your memory entirely? In the past 20 years, eyebrows have gone from barely more than a skinny line to thick, full, and unapologetically bushy. Who hasn't looked back on her brows at one point in her life only to want to permanently hide under a pillow? (Cara Delevingne might be the only exception.)
So, for science—and honestly, a little comic relief—we felt it was time to review some of the most iconic eyebrow looks of a few of our favorite brow trendsetters of decades past. We dug up images of Pamela Anderson's drawn-on arches via the Baywatch era. And who can forget Drew Barrymore's pencil-thin brows? They're so iconic, we once penned a love letter to them.
