New book to uncover truths about Big Pharma

Gerald Posner, the author who took on the pope and the Vatican in “God’s Bankers,” has inked a new deal with Simon & Schuster to uncover the scary truths about Big Pharma.

On the heels of public outrage at the antics of pharma-villain Martin Shkreli and the ruling that Johnson & Johnson must pay $72 million for a cancer death linked to baby powder, Posner says his next book will provide insight into the industry and its colorful characters, as well as uncover wrongdoing. “I hope to bring alive the story behind the intersection of what is supposed to pass as public health, with power and money,” he said.

He’s expected to deliver the new book in early 2018.
