You might tell people that being a mom is the most rewarding job in the world—and most of the time it is. The rest of the time, though, you might wish that your payback came in the form of a big, fat check. Well, now researchers are translating just how much your mom-stress is worth.

For a study published in the National Bureau of Economic Research, researchers used an algorithm to calculate how much the stress levels of moms in Germany and Australia should earn them. That number turned out to be $66,000 a year in U.S. dollars. That's a pretty big chunk of change.

While everyone's job is important and probably worth way more than their salary, we can't help but think that moms might have it just a smidge harder than most—and some of the ladies with these particular careers might even be moms themselves.
