These aptly named treats, Bisous Au Chocolat (a.k.a. chocolate kisses) come from pastry chef Ghaya F. Oliveira. Available at the restaurant and for pick-up, each $40 box includes two flavors: The red kiss has triple vanilla mousse with grapefruit jam and rosewater loukoum, and the pink has a dark-chocolate shell with marshmallow, passion-fruit caramel, and hazelnut praliné atop an almond-chocolate cookie. Call to preorder as quantities are limited each day.

Available through February 15, the salty-sweet Heart Compost Cookie Cake is chock-full of pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, butterscotch, and chocolate chips. At $35, this party-ready cake serves 8 to 10 people.

Introduced this year, the “We Go Together” cookies at Dominique Ansel Kitchen celebrate popular food pairings in three varieties: bacon and eggs, wine and cheese, and peanut butter and jelly. These hand-iced, vanilla butter cookies are $12.50 per set with two cookies in each.

The chocolate rye brownie and white-chocolate cherry blondie pack, $9.75 each, includes two pieces of each flavor, so there’s something for everyone. And they’re all made with locally produced butter, keeping these treats very moist.


Four & Twenty Blackbirds

Four & Twenty Blackbirds has joined with Pretty Streets Botanical and Heartell Press to offer a one-stop-shop Valentine’s Day gift package: a whole pie, a flower arrangement, and a handmade card, priced at $100 for a large bouquet and $80 for a small bouquet. Choose from seven pie flavors: matcha custard, chocolate julep, salted caramel apple, grapefruit custard, lemon chess, chocolate chess, and salty honey. And for those who want a night out, the pie shop is hosting a special four-course Valentine’s Day dinner on February 14 at 7:30 p.m., prepared by chef Chris Bradley, featuring New England oyster stew, Chicken Ballotine à la Franklin, braised beef brisket, and chocolate chess pie with peanut-butter ice cream. Tickets are $75 each or $100 each with beverage pairing.

The pink grapefruit éclair with coriander cream, prickly pear glaze, and pomegranate seeds from this Boerum Hill bakery — usually known for its bread — is a sweet and tart treat for any Valentine. Each éclair, $4.75, is made fresh daily.

This salted caramel cashew ganache tart has toasted cashews, salted caramel, and bittersweet chocolate ganache. It is available in two sizes: six-inch for $25 and nine-inch for $40, perfect for feeding a couple or a lonely-hearts party.

Treat your valentine to a decadent raspberry-chocolate croissant from resident boulanger, François Brunet, who fills this pink-striped pastry with chocolate ganache and raspberry jam. Each croissant is $4.
