Kadevjo Studio is an El Salvadorian startup specializing in mobile gaming and application development. Founded and launched in 2012, Kadevjo develops comprehensive solutions for gaming and application businesses – with a strong focus on generating data and analytics reports. “Companies across the globe are always looking for ways to expand their reach, while maintaining low costs and high quality service,” says CEO Nelson Guillermo Chicas García, “A key component for achieving these goals is to outsource the building of application solutions, while maintaining the freedom to manage the content presented in the solution. That’s where we come in. Our custom CMS provides companies with a dashboard which enables them to integrate powerful mobile resources into their application solutions.”

A Microsoft BizSpark member since 2013, Kadevjo has utilized Microsoft products in their work with a multitude of Fortune 500 companies, expanding their reach to millions of users. “We have recently developed a new gamification platform that includes integration with external services (physical and digital) to help businesses add an extra layer of consumer engagement. The platform has helped us and our clients expand their reach.”

Kadevjo leverages a wide range of Azure technologies to build and design their products, namely Azure’s App Services, Cloud Services, and Virtual Machines. According to Garcia, Kadevjo uses Virtual Machines for their backend solution because its unique auto scale feature provides them the confidence to manage heavier traffic loads, without any downtime.

The company utilizes a comprehensive Azure solution, with a strong focus on data and analytics generation. “Microsoft tools have offered us multidisciplinary solutions that other cloud services simply do not. It has allowed us to create and develop multi-platform codes, helping us to optimize our processes and delivery times – while saving us and our clients time and money,” says Garcia.

Azure’s ability to seamlessly integrate open source cemented Kadevjo’s decision to develop their solution with Azure, continues Garcia. “We are heavily reliant on Linux and Ubuntu and Azure’s ability to support these programs has been a huge advantage for us. We would strongly advise other startups to take advantage of Azure’s unique capabilities.”
