Accessible Japan

Japan is a beautiful country with a long history and rich culture.  It is a popular destination for vacationers from around the world.  But what if you have a disability or are a senior with mobility issues? Is there a hotel to stay in?  Can I ride the train? Are there wheelchair accessible toilets at the attraction I want to visit? Can I take my guide dog? People with disabilities face many questions when planning vacations.  The internet is great, but it doesn't usually answer the questions people with disabilities need to ask. And often these questions are nearly impossible to answer until you go and see for yourself. Accessible Japan exists to answer these questions.  We do this via <a href="http://www.accessible-japan.com" rel="nofollow">www.accessible-japan.com</a> where we have tonnes of general information, news about disability related topics from Japan, and editorials. Most importantly, we research hotels that have wheelchair accessible rooms and go to tourist attractions and report on them.  These become detailed write-ups and YouTube videos. This of course takes a lot of time (and money).  Will you help us stay online?

Snacks! Japan has awesome (and often unique!) snacks.  In mid-summer people send ochuugen, small gifts to people they are indebted too.  We'll send you a ochuugen with 3 Japanese snacks in it.
