I could care less about college degrees in the women I see. Intelligence and formal education don't necessarily go hand in hand. Ever talk to a jock who majored in basket weaving? A woman who majored in Russian literature is no more well rounded than said jock.
It's irrelevant for a couple different reasons.
First, a college education and diverse intelligence and business acumen are not mutually exclusive. To figure out if a provider is intelligent and classy, one reads reviews or through referrals of others that have spent time with her. A blurb that a provider has a college degree is not what we look for to determine this.
I know a lot of bootleg, suspect people that went to college (it means nothing).
And second, it could be a complete lie and we would never know, thus making something already irrelevant even more irrelevant.

While I am a big proponent of higher education, learning, and all that stuff - it doesn't necessarily translate to the hobby. It can't hurt (unless a lady thinks way too highly of herself), but it doesn't always help.
To me creativity, inventiveness, curiousity, a sense of humor, and a great attitude trumps high education any day. Especially in the hobby.
I have been with many ladies who's only real education was "the school of hard knocks" who have made me blush and surprise me in bed (exceedingly hard to do), run circles around me in role play (somewhat hard to do), made me laugh (easy to do, but it doesn't happen nearly enough), and carry on an interesting conversation (you think it would be easy to do but you'd be surprised).
And this is coming from a gent that considers himself very well educated and can definitely fall for the occasional "nerdette". But what I find attractive about nerdgirls is their creativity, curiousity, willingness to experiment, and good ability to improv - not necessarily their overall intelligence or advanced degrees.
And a few ladies I really anticipated meeting to match my wits with disappointed me a bit, honestly. It seems that often along the line a person (men and women both) trades intelligence for sense of humor. Which is a damn shame.

increase the chances of me seeing a provider the first time nor does it warrant higher fees on its own. If I were to change careers my present degree would not help me in a different field. However, if one has a degree and can converse (yes this is how it's said) intelligently that may help with my repeat business.

I think it does make an ad more interesting if a woman has a higher level of educational achievement. That is not to say a degree is a requirement, but as someone who is Master's level educated I find in the civvie world that I tend to have better experiences dating women who have at least a Bachelors, and sometimes and Advanced, degree. I think maybe women who are looking for that market think they will get more responses from a higher level clientele.
I think it makes for better shared experiences. Plus, maybe our biases come into play and we think a woman who is college educated in this world is on a pedestal over someone else.
Not saying it is right or wrong, but it is what it is.

No. Obviously, there are people out there that have somehow managed to get a degree in something yet are clearly not a quick study, and there are people with no formal education who are very bright. However, even though educational status does not always indicate intelligence, people do use it as a proxy for intelligence.
So, who cares about intelligence? Some (probably most) don't; some do. For those to whom it matters, they are usually looking for conversation & connection as well as physical intimacy & want to find commonalities.
