Inside Park Lane Ala Moana's $26 Million Grand Hawaiian Penthouse

Luxury meets location in Honolulu’s newest premium condominium development, Park Lane Ala Moana. Taking full advantage of ocean views, offering resort-like services and amenities with the privacy and security of an estate home, Park Lane balances a sense of community with the tranquility of a tropical retreat. Boasting over 200 ultra-luxury residences, Park Lane’s newest unveiling of its 5,668-square-foot grand penthouse proves that this property is unlike any other residential condominium in Hawaii.

San Francisco-based interior design firm ODADA and Hawaii's Philpotts and Associates combined their sense of luxury with their knowledge of what luxury buyers want, to create this high-end residential property. David Oldroyd, principal designer and president of ODADA, designed Park Lane to bring the nature of the Hawaiian lifestyle to luxury living. “Park Lane is meant to feel like a collection of homes, rather than a condo,” says Oldroyd. “The goal was to create something that would capture what is wonderful about private living.”

Unfolding breathtaking views of the ocean below, this four bedroom and four and a half bathroom penthouse just barely glazes over the tops of palm trees at six stories tall. The Hale Mahina penthouse (Hawaiian for “House of the Moon”), features the indoor-outdoor lifestyle that Hawaii is known for. Entering the penthouse through a private elevator, you are instantly surrounded by 270-degree views of glass, ocean, and volcanos.

Welcoming the ocean breeze, three generous live-in live-out lanais create a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor. “When the doors open and you walk out about five feet, the world opens up to you,” says Oldroyd. The family-centered space has sliding walls that fold back into pockets, textured stone flooring, and slated wood ceilings that create an acoustical barrier to dampen sound while adding warmth to the atmosphere.

In the kitchen, granite countertops with a waterfall edge and custom eucalyptus wood cabinets are tucked away, but open to the family room.

Designed for the best view of the sunset, the master bedroom features an intimate space with a light, airy feel to evoke relaxation. Textured walls, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, and delicate drapes fill this master retreat.

To the side of the master bedroom, a large vanity area includes silver travertine countertops and plenty of storage space. To the right, a large walk-in closet, steam room, and Jacuzzi tub complete the master suite.

Priced at $26.4 million, Hale Mahina is more than just panoramic views and elegant interiors. Private dining rooms, lanais, lounges and bars, wine rooms, a full-service spa and fitness center, 24-hour security, private enclosed garages, and beach services are just the beginning of exclusive amenities included in being a part of the Park Lane community.

Park Lane penthouses range from approximately $21 million to more than $28 million. For more information or to schedule an appointment for viewing, call + 1-800-958-6175 or email info@parklanealamoana.com.
