Leveraging LinkedIn’s "People You May Know"

There are now over 400 Million people on LinkedIn. How many of them are in your network?  Social Sellers should have more than just customers and prospects in their network.  Some other Connections categories include:

• Colleagues
• Referral Partners
• Former Employer Alumni
• College Alumni
• Community Connections

LinkedIn’s "People You May Know" feature is a great place to start if you want to build a quality network made up of people who are relevant to your business. 

"People You May Know" suggest connections based on:

• Commonalities between you and other members. For example, you may have common connections, similar profile information and experiences, work at the same company or in the same industry, or attended the same school.
• Contacts you've imported from your email and mobile address books.
