Reader Discussion: Do You Play Video Games With Your Significant Other?
Valentine's Day looms. So let's talk about relationships, specifically about games and relationships.
My girlfriend and I used to have a daily ritual where we'd play Spelunky together for an hour or two and try to reach Olmec.It was a good way for both of us to de-stress after a long day and it was pretty awesome the few playthroughs where we actually beat the game (we're talking maybe 20 out of over 8,000 runs). For some reason, that's really the only game we have a strong enough mutual interest in to play and try to master its systems. It's been really hard to find another one in that vein to fill the same role.
