Pantone almost broke the collective brains of the design community by announcing not one but two colors of the year 2016, or more accurately, one blend consisting of two individual shades – Rose Quartz (Pantone 13-1520), and Serenity (Pantone 15-2919). With their light, airy choices, Pantone hopes to achieve a sophisticated, positive, and calming blend to offset some of the worries the modern world seems to throw at us every day.
At DesignCrowd, we couldn't be more pleased. After all, the more (colors) the merrier, right? To bask in the full glory of our reigning color-couple, we've decided to divide and conquer after displaying their combined splendor in a previous post. So here's, Rose Quartz, a soft pink just screaming delicacy and romance.
Pink is a wonderful color to denote much more than just a little girl's bedroom. Associated with all things cozy, it is a perfect shade to advertise luxurious, calming, and feminine products. As a cousin of fiery red, it can also be a great choice for food items, and especially dainty comfort snacks like cupcakes and cookies are prone to choosing it for their labels. Going into slightly more saturated tones, pink can provide a perfect portrayal of attitude and fun, standing out strong from most other colors.
Here we've lined up 20 crowdsourced pink logos that will be right on trend in 2016 to inspire our designers. And if you're in the market for your own custom design, now is the time to stop and think if pink might be your winning ticket.
