Today we are chatting to Kenneth Griffin Jr., the author of The Law of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours.

Can you tell us something unexpected about yourself!

Unexpected? Well, that is the exact word that many would use to describe me, so this may be difficult. To start, I believe that I do not see the world the way most people see it. I have felt this way from as long as I can remember. I touch on this in my book, The Law of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours. The world I am viewing is not real, and is all vibrational energy. I can see it………….I can feel it!!
I also do not make decisions or come to conclusions in the same manner that others may either. I always try to make those sorts of observations from my “higher self”. I also am in constant contact with God, as we all can be. I just no longer refuse to listen to Her like some people may.
On a side note, I am a huge nerd! I love super hero movies, science fiction, and sitting in the house and playing video games for days. I am also a die-hard Game of Thrones fanatic. The north remembers!

What kind of books do you write?

Books about the Laws of the Universe, mainly about the Law of Vibration and the Law of Attraction. I also write about God, consciousness and spirituality, I also touch on how quantum physics is tied into all of these subjects.

What inspired you to write?

I was abused badly as a child. That is what the first few chapters of my book are about. After that, I struggled through life just get by. A lot of my friends told me that I should write my life's story, but I didn't know how to get started. I learned about the Law of Attraction and realized that I was bringing everything on myself.
As I stated earlier, I have constant conversations with God. One time, She informed me of my soul's mission on this earth was to inspire and to wake up those that wish to be awoken. After that, the words started to write themselves. Everyday I watch my species act in horrific ways and allow themselves to be programmed by the media, corrupt government and television.
Seeing that, and knowing that I came here to help reverse this behavior, is what really inspired me to write and to get my message out to those who wish to listen.

What makes your writing stand out from the crowd?

Most of the Law of Attraction books that have been published are written in the same manner: The author has found something that works for them and they pass that instruction on to the reader. The writing in my book, The Law of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours, is about my life, and how the Law of Attraction affected it, even when I didn't know the Universal Law existed.
You see, the thing is, a lot of authors are leaving out some major rules of the Law of Attraction, and that is why I believe so many people have been unsuccessful with it. Not only do you have to completely unlearn everything that you have learned in life, you also have to “deprogram” yourself from society and get out of the “noise” that they have you stuck in.
I pull no punches in my writing and I get straight to the point and tell the reader that they have to accept God for what She truly is in order to get this Universal Law to work in their favor. God created us in Her image, and that includes having the same creative powers that She has. In order to use those creative powers, there is a lot to let go of, and even more to accept.
What I explain in my book through example, via my life story and through normal instruction, is vital information to get the Law of Attraction to work for you. I have also been told that my writing is different, because when readers are reading it, they picture it as if I am speaking to them from a stage, like a motivational speaker would…………something that I am going to be.

What is the hardest part of writing – for you?

The hardest part of writing for me is not knowing if my audience is going to be “ready” for what I am writing. I held a lot of information back from my first book, The Law of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours, because I wanted to be able to grab the reader's attention without either losing them, or having them start a petition to put me in the loony bin.

Where do you like to write – what is your routine?

I rarely actually “write”, I do nearly everything on my computer or mobile device. As thoughts come to me, as I meditate and while I am at work, I text myself keywords that will trigger the entire chapter in my head. Then when I get home, I look at the keyword and then one memory leads to another and I type it all out.

What do you do when you are not writing – do you have a day job?

I do have a day job. I am a Network Application Administrator at an insurance company.
It is a job that takes up 10 hours of my day, 5 days a week, so it proves difficult to write my blogs and answer emails and tweets, and promote my book, etc, but I know that the Universe is working in my favor for me, right this very instant!

Do you work with an outline or just write?

I just write. God influences me, and through that influence, the ideas come to me. This is inspiration at its finest, and in its purest and Divine form! And the thing is, we all have this ability inside of us!

What advice would you have for other writers?

I don't really think I am qualified to tell anyone about what to write or how to write. I will, however, say this: If you are self publishing, because it seems to be a daunting task to get into a traditional publishing company these days, you have to do your homework!
There are a lot of “pay us this amount and you'll be an overnight success” self publishing companies that promise you the world, and you have to be aware of that. Take your time and find out what works for you! I was lucky to find an excellent self publishing company in Page Publishing.
The internet really is a jungle. Tame it, and learn to navigate it!

How important is marketing and social media for you?

I knew prior to writing my book that social media was going to be a huge, defining factor in the success of my book. But there is absolutely nothing that can quite gauge how much I underestimated its power and potential. This is the best way to reach your audience, yet there are so many ways to do it, that you can get lost easily.
You have to really do your homework on how to only reach those that are going to be interested in your book, instead of just throwing out blobs of information to a mass of people that have no interest in it. This is even more important if you are spending money on your promotions!

What’s your next step?

I would have to say my next step is broken down into three small steps: 1. I have received many emails and instant messages, and even reviews on Amazon, about how readers were appalled at what my parents did to me during my childhood and how I made the reader cry as they read this part of my book In the end though, the reader always seems to say the same thing.
They tell me that they are inspired by the way I fought through it all and became the creator that I am today! This is my main mission: INSPIRATION! 2. I want to get as many people as possible to read The Law Of Attraction Saved My Life & It Can Save Yours, because I want them to have the “foundation” when my next book releases. Everything will make more sense when you follow me to where I am about to go, if you are already aware of where I have been! 3, I would love to be published by a great publishing company with a honored reputation, that allows the author to be creative, like Hay House.
