Frank Lloyd Wright's Ingalls House Hits Market With $1.3M Ask & Delightfully Retro Listing Photos

New, 5 comments

It's been a quite a while since Frank Lloyd Wright's J. Kibben Ingalls House in River Forest has been up for grabs, and if these retro listing photos say anything, it's that the home has been in good hands over the years. Recently, veteran real estate reporter Dennis Rodkin had hinted on Crain's that the home would be hitting the market soon, and today the century-old Prairie style home publicly listed with an asking price of $1.325 million. The four bedroom home was built in 1909 and according to Rodkin, was updated after local architect John Tilton purchased the home in 1977. And although the home has changed with the decades, it's still fascinating to get a look at the time capsule-style images that were included in the home's listing.
