DEEP ELLUM – It’s already been one year since Luscher’s Red Hots brought their snappy casings to Deep Ellum, and time definitely flies when you’re eating too many hot dogs. Today only, from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., you can order up as many Post Oak Red Hots, Depression Dogs and Kraut Dogs as your sausage-lovin’ heart desires for just $1 each. [EaterWire]

FORT WORTH – Chicken Salad Chick, a strangely specific new restaurant concept that focuses on (you guessed it!) chicken salad, will open in Fort Worth later this year. The fast-casual chain originated in Alabama, and has since opened 49 outposts across the Southeast. Chicken Salad Chick is expected to open by the end of Spring 2016. [CultureMap]

PIZZA WIRE – On Monday, March 7, Zalat will open their third location at the corner of Legacy and Independence Parkway in Plano, and they’re celebrating with a killer deal. On Monday, you’ll be able to score one pizza – even the elotes pizza and the Pho Shizzle pie – for just $3. You’ll have to actually walk into the restaurant (read: no call-ins or deliveries), and the offer is good for one 14” pizza per customer. [EaterWire]
