The State of the Sector: a survey for social enterprises who work with land
This survey is designed to develop an understanding of the growing number of social enterprises working with land. We are currently collecting evidence that will inform policy designed to support the sector.

We are defining land-based social enterprises as organisations that:

(1) Work with land or support others to do so

(2) Have a social or environmental purpose

(3) Generate income through trade or delivering services (so are not totally reliant on grant funding or donations)

(4) Reinvest any profit or surplus they make into the organisation, or achieving their social goals

If you are involved with an organisation that fits this description, or an organisation that aspires to fit this description, we would love to hear from you. All information you give us will be kept confidential, and anonymised for any reporting purposes

If you aren't sure whether you should fill in the survey, please do start - the questions will guide you through and we would like to hear from as many people as possible.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to fill in.

If you would prefer to fill it in over the phone, or have any questions, please email research@sharedassets.org.uk, or ring 07542063083.
