This may not be Android related, but it was too cool not to share. How cool would it be if all the normal stuff in your life was connected? Films from yesteryear imagined a future with touch interfaces displayed on glass and mirrors. Today some random guy released a video demoing his project which does exactly that.

In the video the mirror is able to play music, videos, and even send messages to friends. All this while you brush your teeth, shave or, do your hair. There is no real information here on how the technology works it would seem as if there were something projecting the ui onto the mirror maybe from underneath?

I still can't tell if this is a video project by an MIT student or a film student. Who knows this could all be fake, but if its real it looks pretty awesome!

That's hard to tell if it's fake, or if he really figured out how to make a mirror run Android (?...or some similar software). Definitely cool though, no matter what. I'm just wondering where he was able to get a piece of touch sensitive glass that large? That would seem expensive.

Kinda reminded me of the Ironman first movie. It also reminded me that when the British show called UFO (pre Star Trek) came out all that stuff was just props back then as well but is everyday except for the base on the moon.

There is an infrared touch screen technology that uses led's around the perimeter to make any screen touch sensitive. I've seen it on very large screens before.

But who could actually get ready in front of that mirror? I'd be playing with it instead of getting ready. ....
