Deep Brain Stimulation or DBS is a surgical procedure used to treat a variety of disabling neurological symptoms. Most often, it is used to treat Parkinson ’s disease and Essential Tremor. Used to treat the most commonly debilitating symptoms of these diseases, such as tremor, rigidity, stiffness, slowed movement, and walking problems.
