Yesterday we reported on the fact that, even if Canonical unveiled the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system last month, on April 21, several LoCos are still organizing release parties.

For example, the Ubuntu Japanese LoCo team will hold a release party in celebration of the latest and most advanced long-term support (LTS) release of Ubuntu Linux next month, on June 26, 2016.

And today we have the great pleasure of informing those who live in Paris or France, for that matter, that they can attend one of the biggest release parties for the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating system, which takes place this weekend, between May 28 and 29.

Where? In Paris, of course, the city of love. The event starts on May 28 at 11 a.m. and ends at 18 p.m. (same goes for the second day of the event, May 29). The location? City of Science and Industry, 30 Avenue Corentin Cariou, 75019 Paris, France.

Therefore, if you are in Paris or its surrounding areas, and you are a dedicated Ubuntu user or just want to learn everything there is to know about one of the most popular free operating systems, come and join the UbuCon Paris release party.

Traveling and accommodation information is available on the official website of the event, along with the schedule and the names of the special guests. Be there if you care about the future of Ubuntu Linux!
