Hey guys. I just wanted to write y’all about my adventure on the road. This last Christmas I went to Andhra Pradesh in India. Close to where you guys were. The focal point of my trip was Vijayawada and the surrounding villages. I preached at a year end conference there and saw the Spirit move in a special way. I never would have gone had I not saw you two go. You helped me face my fear. I am now trying to support my friends that I met in India and need your prayers. Thanks guys! Praise God for workers such as you!!

-Ken

Hey! I just want to say how your episodes have really inspired me to spread the Gospel and have brought me closer to the LORD. I think it is amazing what you have been doing for the past years now and I hope the Lord will continue to guide and protect you. I started to watch your episodes in Bible class and I was hooked from the first one. I don’t know why but I thought it was amazing that from such a young age you wanted to spread the gospel and how you go to the most targeted places in the world and bring the Word to them. One day I hope to do that as well.

-Deanna

TTR helped me surrender to the call to become a full time missionary.

-Mike

As a homeschooling family we are very blessed by your show! Several of my children (and myself included) want to soon get on the road and be traveling missionaries! Thank you for all you do! God bless you all! (Even those behind the scenes)

-Alyssa

Your ministry has been an inspiration to me for years! Missions has always been a desire in my heart, and now with Christ in my life the fire is even greater. I’m looking forward to pursuing what God has placed in my heart to fulfill his Great Commission. Bless you guys!

-John

Hey guys just wanted to thank you for the encouragement watching Travel the Road has been for my wife and I. We are moving to Thailand to as full-time missionaries in January next year.

-Nico

I met you all at Teen Mania when I was 15 and now am in full time missions living among the poor and in war zones. You all inspired me so much!

-Lindsay

I went to YWAM and used to watch ttr faithfully as a teen growing up! I also now live on the foreign field, loving God and loving people! Thanks for the example and inspiration!!!!

-Katie

I came across your show on TBN many years ago during season 2. After watching for a long time I decided to do short term missions work. I went to Grand Canyon National park for 2 months in 2008 doing missions with “A Christian Ministry in the National Parks” In 2011 my church went to Haiti a few months after the earthquake and we were there for 6 days and we built chicken farms for some locals, gave away soccer balls and clothing, and donated and performed weddings for 14 couples who could not afford it on there own. I honestly don’t think I would have ever went on these trips if it wasn’t for your T.V. show and you heart for the world to hear the Gospel and here the good news of Jesus saving us from our sins.
May God bless you Tim and Will!
-Luke

I have seen some of your adventures and have to say that God is awesome and there has always been this little fire in me to be a missionary. Jesus is walking me out of the past and into his purpose. It would be great to share the gospel around the world. Who knows what he has planned for me. God bless you guys and please listen to the Holy spirit. I was scared for you guys in that Mongolia road trip with those guys who threatened to kill you.

- John

My name is Jonas, and I’ve grown up as a missionary kid. I’ve had an amazing childhood and wouldn’t trade it for any other. I’ve been watching Travel the Road since when it aired on TBN, and still watch the three seasons on Netflix. Thank you both so much for the dedication and sacrifice you guys have made to living out the Great Commission. I’ve been very inspired by you both and look forward to a life on the mission field, as I can’t imagine a better life than laying everything down to go and make disciples of all nations. You are a blessing!

Jonas

I used to watch this show when I was younger. Tim and Will were one of the many people that inspired me to be a missionary. A decade later, I am a missionary to some of the darkest places upon the earth! Thanks Tim & Will!

-Diejanay

Hello guys!

I started watching travel the road back in 2006 when i was living in England at 17 years old. I have known of Jesus and the gospel since i was 8 when some local missionaries came to my families home and invited us to vacation bible school. I was inspired by Timothy and Will to do gods work and do what it says in Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Long story short, I have fell away from Christ off and on. I have been in the military the US Coast Guard since i moved back to The states. I was living in sin and finally it hit me hard I knew i needed to turn from my sin and that i was going to hell if i didn’t turn from sin. So i have for his Glory. Here is the hard part. I get out of the military soon and will be attending college paid by the military 100%. I chose one of the best acting school in Hollywood California and got accepted. I know its a hard area and Job to have and be a christian but i know other have done it like kirk Cameron etc and it can be a mission field in itself. I don’t know if i should do this or go to YWAM youth with a mission to be a missionary. I don’t care about money or fame but i do like acting but would give it up for the gospel. I Just want to do God’s will and ask if you would pray for me. I am just now getting back into the relationship with God. I would pray back in the day but i didn’t always listen and i don’t believe that i really knew Christ but i do now.

I am so blessed to have had you two follow Gods will to do the mission work that has helped inspire us Christians in the last days to spread the Good news of Jesus death and Resurrection . It makes me really sad that most “Christians” like i was before living in sin and only used God as a security blanket and not a relationship,I see televangelists that preach about money and prosperity and use Christ for a benefit but Christ taught that we would be hated and face persecution etc. I feel that these people are leading people like i was before to hell because they fall away like the seed on thorny ground etc. when they face problems or the world tempts them, Sorry for venting I love you Guys!

Fellow Disciple in Christ

-Derek

Travel the Road has inspired me to courageously obey God at whatever cost, watching you guys makes dying to self attractive, as the joy you display in the mission field is so real. You are truly heaven heroes and your rewards in eternity will be great! Thank you for courageously obeying God and setting an example for me and many others.

-Rose

Tim and Will, I give thank to God that I could call u guys my brothers in Christ. You guys have been a strong inspiration for me and my family. The first time that I saw Travel the Road videos God spoke into to my life and since that time my brother and I we have been traveling the road as well. We have gone to Honduras and on the 18th of April are on our way back, and to Dominican Republic on August 11. To GOD be all the glory! That’s why my family and I are proud to be part of your ministries

-Elvin

I just wanted to send a message of encouragement because of how you have touched my life. I am fifteen years old, and I have always been interested in missions since I was very young. And now, I want to be a missionary just like you guys. I watch your shows on tv, and I will often pray for you at the end of each one. You guys are definitely anointed by God, and it’s inspiring how you trust Him, even when things get rough. Keep pushing on, and know that there are people behind you, cheering you on!

Thank you for all you do.

-Aarin

Hi TTR! My name is Ashtyn and I am a young teen from South Carolina. I just wanted to tell you guys the impact that travel the road has made on my life. My dad first introduced me to the show this past summer, and I cant stop watching them. You guys have become my heroes! The show has inspired me to go into full mission work when I get older. As of now, I am planning to go to discipleship training school with youth with a mission when I graduate high school. I am praying for Tim and Will everyday, and may God continue to bless your ministry!

Your Friend,

-Ashtyn

Just wanted to say thank you for everything you guys do for the kingdom of God and His children! Keep up the good work! I am going to the Philippines for a long-term missions trip soon. Your shows have definitely encouraged me and inspired me to live a life of faith. Thank you for saying yes to God!

-Hannah

Hey guys, I used to watch you often about ten years back on TBN. During that time I was locked up in prison and seeing your travels and the great work that you have done for the Kingdom has been a huge inspiration to me. It motivated me so much so that I too sought after becoming a missionary. Ever since I was a young boy I always had a desire to travel the world when I became saved I saw how God had been cultivating that desire for the nations even from an early age. Your shows and story of serving The Lord has been a part of that cultivation. God has used your testimony not only to reach the foreign nations but also those here at home. There are many raising up to the challenge of taking the gospel forth into the world

I thank you keep serving!!! God bless

-Elijah

I remember almost 11 years ago when I use to watch Travel the Road on TBN, I was a high school student. Every episode ignited a fire in me, a desire of going to the nations…never thought it was possible for me. Life happened I went to college, got a job and life was good. I was comfortable and “living the dream”. This year the I felt a deep calling in my heart for something more I truly was not happy even though I had everything, what happened to that dream that once lived in me. I was afraid to loose it all. Then Hebrews 12:1-2 really spoke to my heart. I decided to go! I have stepped out in faith and now Im leaving next year on an 11 month missions trip called The World Race, never thought it was possible. I have seen how the Lord has opened the doors in every way for this trip, and I’m moving forward in faith.

The reason why I’m writing is that I want to thank you for for being bold and stepping out in faith when the Lord called the travel the road team to move forward with this project, that seed that was sown 10 years ago is now giving fruit. Keep on encouraging this generation to preach the gospel. This has been a huge blessing to my life.(Im stoked that now you are on Netflix!)

God bless!

-Ray

Hello, My name is Silas Thompson. I am a senior in High School and God has called me to be a missionary. Watching your documentaries have been such a huge inspiration for me! I love what you guys do and please know that I will be praying the God continues to do amazing things in and through you! Thank you so much for inspiring me to carry out the great commission by carrying the gospel to all parts of the world!

God bless,

-Silas

Travel The Road has encouraged me in my walk with Jesus and in completing the mission that He has set before me. I am currently in the process of becoming a missionary to China and when I watch and hear about your ministry all over the world, it strengthens me to continue on. Thank you for obeying the call to serving Jesus our Lord wherever you are! You are truly a blessing!

-Kendra

My name is Kris Keating and Ilive in southern Illinois. I just recently discovered your show on Netflix and every episode I watch I find myself praying for you guys more and more. My wife and I are currently answering a call to foreign missions. We have no idea where God wants us to end up, but seeing these people groups and how much darkness surrounds them we know that God has a place picked out for us already. By the way I just watched the sky burial episode this morning before church and after watching that my sense of urgency has grown and continues to do so. I have been to Tanzania and spent 6 months in Estonia and Latvia and there is no greater joy than seeing someone come to Christ. We will be praying for you guys daily that God will continue to bless your hard work. Anyway, I know you are busy, just wanted to let you know that your ministry has affected me profoundly and I will forever be grateful. God speaks to me every episode I watch.

God bless you guys

-Kris

Just wanted to let you know how encouraging the Travel the Road series on Netflix was to me. This past June I was getting ready for a 6-week trip to learn about tribal church planting in PNG, and it being the biggest thing God has ever called me to do….I got a little freaked out/scared/nervous about it the few weeks before I left. Completely not normal for me, especially since I’ve known God wanted me to go to PNG and have greatly looked forward to it since he spoke to me high school about it (2009); but definitely got spiritually hit right before I left and was not dealing well. Then my mom found the series on Netflix, we’d already been following on Facebook, and it just encouraged me so much. God used it to renew my spirit and restore that vigor for world missions he has given me. I went to PNG, and I learned so much and grew with God tremendously. He’s called me back to the States for now to be a ‘messenger’ with everything He has shown me, but I just wanted to say Thank you for turning your ministry all around the world into a TV series that has become a ministry all in its own. Greatly encouraged me and I hope this encourages you. God bless!

-Rachel

My sister and I have been watching your documentary via Netflix and we think what you two are accomplishing is amazing. I wasn’t aware that you are still traveling and that is even more awesome. God has truly put something grand in your hearts. I myself am interested in missionary work and you are so inspiring. May God be with you always. I will pray for you and will ask my sister too as well. Much love brothers.

I first heard about you possibly 10-12 years ago when I picked up your first documentary at a local library. I was so intensely moved by your story that today that is part of my testimony as to what helped move my heart into action to “Go into all the world.” I am now part of a ministry that travels to many different countries to spread the gospel and just 2 weeks ago returned from being with a group in Mozambique Africa. It is so exciting to be a part of spreading the fire of God across nations! Thank you for your hearts of compassion! May you be encouraged and strengthened today in Jesus’ Name! God bless!

-Rachel

My name is Ashtyn carpenter and i am a twelve year old girl who loves god.your show is very good and is a blessing to our whole family. it has inspired me a lot and someday i want to be a missionary. My family and I will be praying for you.

Your Friend,

-Ashtyn

Hey Tim and Will, I was wanted to say that I think you guys are totally awesome for what you do. The Lord has blessed you guys with such love and its awesome to be a witness to that by watching your tv show. I’m sure you get these kind of emails and letters all the time. I’ve been saved for about 2 years now and I go to an awesome church in Westminster, CO called Victory. A friend showed me your tv show one day about a year ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. I have you guys on my DVR so I never miss a show. I’m in a life group through my church and I was talking to the leader of the group the other day about your show. She told me she was very interested to see what my spiritual giftings are since I’m so drawn to your show. Well to be honest, ever since being saved I thought going on a missions trip would be really cool. I had ventured off Gods course for a couple months, but lately I’ve really been missing Him. So now I’m back. Jesus has blessed me with financial aid to go back to school and also has had your show on my heart. So today was rally day at my church and I got all the info on going on a missions trip. I’m planning on going to Atitlan, Guatemala. I’m so happy and feel so blessed that the Lord has put this on my heart! Again thank you Tim and Will for all you do with missions and bringing the Word of God to the people around the world. You have touched my heart and for that I’m grateful!

Love and God bless,

-Kelly

When I was in Bible School during my first couple of years, a friend shared with me his copies of the Travel the Road seasons 1 and 2. These films help to fan the flame of missions in my heart. A few years later I made a survey trip to Kenya, Africa, and the Lord has now led myself and wife to serve in Kenya full-time. We have started a ministry dedicated to teaching and training local leaders and pastors in areas that are bordering unreached areas. Our prayer is to see the Church of Jesus Christ equipped to carry out the great commission. As you probably know, many pastors working near unreached areas have very little or no training in the Word of God (if they have a Bible at all).

-Phil

I am at San Francisco airport waiting to fly to Ethiopia.. I already have all of TTR videos and have watched them many times I just watched Season 3 Trainer online about AFRICA so I have to send an email because the trailer inspires me. This is my 5th mission trip to Ethiopia. This time I will be there 5 months, other times I was there 8 months at a time. Your DVDs keep inspiring me to go back. I have gotten 2 year visas before but this time they only gave me a 6 month. I pray this is not a sign of future trouble there. May God continue to bless you two guys.

-Missionary Mark

You both have greatly impacted my family since your mission work and “Travel the Road” began. My husband, Tim, myself, and my two sons, Zac and Will met you in Bowling Green, KY several years back. Later, our family surrendered to the call of full-time mission service to Malawi, Africa. I actually wrote to you guys about contacting our sons during their commissioning service, and Tim actually phoned them during the service praying a wonderful prayer of commissioning for them both — what a tremendous blessing to everyone!

-Jill

Guys I just want to encourage you, you are truly doing your purpose on the earth. There is nothing than sharing the gospel to remote than I didn’t even know they exist, am deeply moved and I wanna do the same thing.

-Airtel

When I first saw your Pilot episode I was moved in such a way once again that I myself ended up “traveling the road”. I spent all of 2008 traveling around the globe ministering, praying, and evangelizing. Every single person I met had a story and a need of hope…believer or not. It was a revolutionary experience for me and I’ve never gone back to where I was before. We’re not all called to be on t.v. but know that the path you have laid out and shared with us has inspired this generation to stand up and speak out. Keep moving forward men, an army of Saints is behind you!

-Matt

You series literally changed my life, and when I gave my life to Christ, I also gave my life to missions! Travel the Road had a HUGE part to play in that… because you showed me for the first time that there were people who had never heard of Christ before. Thank you for being willing to be used by God. OH… and you’ve gotta love the leaches

-Leah M.

I first want to start by saying you guys have blessed me and my family so much because of what you guys do. Three years ago, my mom saw your videos in a Christian book store and started to cry. Anyway, long story short, she came home made the whole family watch your videos and it changed my family’s life forever. After that, my family decided that they wanted to become missionaries somewhere in the world. We are now serving in Guatemala and we have been here for two years.

-Cooper

The name of the series Travel the Road comes out in my vocabulary quite often. The reason being is that it was such an integral part of how I got to the place where I am today. I was 13 years old when God first began stirring my heart to be an overseas missionary. After I turned 14 my youth pastor started showing episodes of Travel the Road in our Sunday school class. It was one of many, many things that gripped my heart for the nations. More specifically, for the neglected, unreached people of the world who have never even heard the name of Jesus. Over time God has only refined and directed this calling to unreached people-groups throughout the world. In may of 2010 (I was 18 at this point), I was remembering Travel the Road and how God had initially used the series to stir my heart for unreached people. I went to http://www.traveltheroad.com/ in hopes that there would be opportunities for going on trips, or that they would know of a ministry that had those kinds of opportunities. All I found was that Tim and Will were still going just the two of them and they were still making new series. Instead of finding an opportunity for a trip, I found episodes from season three (which I had never watched before). In season three, Tim and Will are in Africa and they did some things with an organization called Overland Missions. It piqued my curiosity and I ended up researching the organization Overland Missions. It ended up having exactly the vision that God had been working to place in my heart. Shortly thereafter I attended their Advanced Mission Training, and I am now a full-time missionary with Overland Missions. I am now 20 years old. Had I never known about Travel the Road, I never wold have found out about Overland Missions. Travel the Road was a series that first compelled my heart for unreached people, and in turn ended up being the series that God used to lead me to the organization I am now apart of! Keep faithfully doing all that God asks of you, it is being used to compel laborers out into the harvest! Thank you!

-Leah

Tim and Will, I would just like to say thanks for your inspiration. our daughter has watched your films many years and was encouraged to go into the mission field. She is now in Africa for two months sharing the gospel. Thanks for being such a huge influence. May God also continue to use you both no matter where you are.

-Lyn

Hi! I just wanted to let you know how much you guys inspired me growing up and that you guys are my childhood heros and still are! I remember staying up late every saturday night when you guys still had new travel the road episodes coming out. Growing up, I always told myself that I wanted to become a missionary and do mission work because of all the missionaries that came to my church and then as I started watching your show i really felt like going into the mission field was what God wanted me to do.

You guys have truly touched my life and I want to thank you for everything you do for our brothers and sisters through Christ around the world! I have and will always be praying for you!

God Bless

-Nicole

I’d just like to tell y’all you guys are amazing and I’m really touched by you guys, I’m 21 and I feel called to missions. I don’t know when or how but I’ll be praying for y’all and pray for me thank you.

-Michael

I just want to say thank you so much for being faithful to following God’s call with Travel the Road. I’ve been familiar with your shows for a few years now, and I was so excited when I saw it in my local Christian book store this past week. I’m sharing it with some friends, and we have been so encouraged and inspired to serve God and reach the lost in His name. I pray the Lord will continue to bless you both.

-Amber

I am very inspired by you! My son decided at a small age to be a missionary, and God used you to really drive that home to him. Thank you ! I pray that God continues to bless you!I was wondering if the eoisode about the Deer People was on season 2. That episode has a special dearness to my heart, and I would like to order the season that it is on. Thank you, and God bless you!

-Pam

I would just like to say that we are so proud of you and are so happy to support what you do. We have all of your shows now and started watching them in the ‘90s when they first came out. We have followed you and your journeys with our children and they, too, have grown to love you and your show. My eight year old boy put back his birthday money and came to me and said, “I want to give this to Tim and Will” We were particularly touched (saddened and sickened) by what we saw on some of the Africa videos and so now we are sponsoring a little boy in Uganda through World Vision and also a little girl in India. My son and daughter both want to be missionaries now because of what they have seen you do. You do not know how much your show has touched our lives. I am a homeschooling mom of 7 children and I cannot go out into the world and make a difference, or I would. But I like to think that I can make a difference here at home, by raising my children to know God and sponsoring little kids who need help in other countries. I hope to send my children out into the mission field someday, so that they can make a difference and hopefully show others the love of God. In that small way, I can live vicariously through them and of course, through you and watching your show. I wish I could meet you both in person. You have my utmost respect and gratitude for all you do! Bless you both. We will try to send money as we can throughout the year.

Love,

-the Brotherton Family

Thank you for all that you do! Travel the Road is such an inspiration to me- with every episode that I watch (on TBN), it inspires me to want to go overseas and share the gospel with others. I love the work that you all do and sharing it via Travel the Road is a great way to inspire others into missions! I’m a college student now and am definitely hoping to be involved with missions in a large part once I graduate. Thanks again and I’m so excited to of won!

-Staci

Hello, my name is Ryan and I am a senior in High school and am getting ready to graduate in a couple of months. God used your show to encourage me to turn away from joining the military and become a missionary. I am in the process of trying to figure out where to next, I am praying, however, I feel like God is calling me to do what you guys do.

-Ryan

My name is Daniel and I am 24 years old, and am currently living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I became a Christian when I was 21 years old, and experiencing Jesus Christ is something that has radically changed my life and how I live it. I am currently a helicopter pilot here in South Florida, but am leaving to begin work as a full-time missionary in the near future. The first leg of my journey will begin as a missionary helicopter pilot in Haiti, and will last several years. The next leg will most likely take me to the jungles of West Papua as a missionary pilot.

I didn’t grow up in your typical “Christian home.” I struggled with drinking and drugs as a teenager, and was always rebelling against any type of “structure.” Your show, Travel the Road, has been a tremendous inspiration to me, and it has shown me how God remains faithful, especially during circumstances of stepping out into the unknown for the proclamation of the Glory of Himself.

-Daniel

I had the pleasure of hearing you guys speak at Christ For The Nations in Dallas a few years back, and you guys prayed for my wife and I and our mission endeavors. Your ministry has had a huge impact on us, even to the founding of MissionsPlace.com and our expeditions to the unreached peoples of the world.

-Aaron

I wanted to tell you how much of an inspiration Travel the Road has been to me. My whole life I’ve wanted to be missionary, and when i watched your show, my fire inside would be ignited even more as i would see them overseas in the mission field doing Gods will and living in it. I remember thinking how much I wanted to do what those guys do.. I am now 17, but last Christmas i went to India on my first mission trip. It was life changing.

-Kimberlea

I am from Kenya, grew up in Nairobi watching “Travel the road” every week, the one destination that touched me was India. As I watched you guys travel through that country and sharing the gospel, as well as watched how even when things went wrong, God was always there to help you guys out, and it sparked an interest for Missions. I ended up attending Oral Roberts University for my undergraduate degree where I got involved in the missions program, thanks to the seed planted years ago from watching “Travel the Road,” and i am now currently in my last year of Law school intending to use my legal knowledge in the missions field.

I thank you and your team, and most important God for giving you guys the vision for “Travel the Road”. Words truly cannot describe how your Program has shaped the passion I have for the missions field.

Sincerely,

-Victoria

Your show is a blessing for me. Because of your show I am considering full time missions. Thanks for taking the great commission seriously and being thoughtful enough to show it!

-Andre

In a nut shell I longed to go with you guys but was unable to find anyone willing to accompany me since I am a lady. We have turned all of your DVDs into Bible studies and I was an avid watcher of your program. Two years ago the Lord opened a month long adventure for me in Nepal in KTM and trekking on the Himalayan range. Last year I had to end support as I was let go at my job after 25 years. In November 2010 I stepped out and applied to go to the field abroad and I was approved so I am going once my support is raised. I will be going to a sensitive country.

I wanted to share that, although I have felt a call to Missions, you helped fuel that flame inside, and you were an encouragement.

May the Lord continue to establish the work of your hands.

-Michelle

You 2 inspire me! I am 57 years old, been on short term missions to Rwanda and Haiti and am going to Haiti again this year. Keep doing what you are doing, I will be praying for you.

-David

You both have encouraged me to be faithful to God in the waiting period until I start my missions. Its not really a waiting period, but a perparing period. I am preparing to become a nurse so then I can do medical missions.

-Amy

Watched Travel the road for 7 yrs …love these guys and love to see the fruit the Lord.is.giving them.in their ministry….did a Ywam DTS last year…now serving as a fulltime missionary since. Best decision I ever made….to follow Jesus and best thing I ever could do with my life serve Him with all my heart and soul. We who have lost their lives in Christ have truly found it!

Thanks TTR FAM for inspiring me and so many ither young believers to BE about the Great commission! GOD BLESS YOU ALL…AND ASHTYN ON THIS JOURNEY OF FAITH

-Brett

My husband and I have been ministering in Nicaragua since 1999. We just started a ministry called REACT MISSIONS. God laid on hearts to encourage the Pastor’s and Leaders to reach the unreached in the rural areas of Nicaragua. We have been to a mountainous area where they have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So my husband went with another person and showed the Jesus film. There are more areas in Nicaragua where they have not heard the good news of Jesus. We are praying to reach them someday. We plan on living in Nicaragua soon.
I tell you all this because you have encouraged us to press on. I love what you all do and it stirs my heart to do the same. Thank you for being obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit. God will bless all that you do for His name sake.

-Lisa
