Who has experience hobbying overseas?
Here in the U.S we have it good especially since we have so many boards and ad sites. For those who travel often do you like to take a provider or ATF with you or do you just gamble and try to find a date when you get to your destination ? I've heard some scary stories but then again I heard a few good ones!
this was before I knew about TER - Horrible experience but after TER very much to my pleasure - same as in the US. However, I have a friend going to Puerto Rico, and there is not a lot of info available any advice?
Dublin, Prague and Buenos Aires, using Google and the city. There are LOTS of options, and by doing a lot of reading and research as my due diligence tools, my success was magnificent in each city. Typically lower fees (at least in those cities) and less LE pressure. Language can be a challenge, but with adequate research you can find a lady who speaks English.
The ULTIMATE item on my bucket list is a cruise with a provider, but I doubt that will ever happen because (1) I can't devise a story to fool my wife and (2) my pockets aren't deep enough. But at least a guy can dream!!!
And quite the contrary, I would be much more likely to bring one of them home with me than I would ever bring an American provider abroad with me.
Keep in mind that in most of the rest of the world what we do here is perfectly legal. There is no need to speak in code or read reviews to find out what is on the "menu". Also there are many other review sites besides TER that can be your guide to international mongering.
Don't get me wrong, I am very happy TER is here, it's just that if weren't for our fucked up laws in this country TER would hardly be necessary.

What would be different would be that TER would be domestcally owned.
European, and have luxury incalls in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin and Neuchatel. I have many American friends who love to take me with them on their trips abroad, since I can show them around the cities as a local and introduce them to my European provider friends there. Providers in Europe are great in that they are very openminded since everything is legal and open there, and if you go to many big cities especially in Germany, The Netherlands, parts of Scandinavia, The Benelux they will be conversant in English. The trick is to be well prepared and familiar with the culture and to do your research on providers there. Email and call them before you leave, so there is no confusion or misunderstandings when you get there.

But most of all I love being a tour guide and taking my guys out to fun, interesting and romantic places in Europe. One time a client booked us on a private boat trip on the Seine in Paris, at sunset....sooo utterly romantic...Its always more fun going with someone you know, are comfortable with and whose company you enjoy. Be it an American provider or a local one.
I recently took a vacation to Costa Rica, with pursuit of the hobby as one of the top items on my agenda. The hobby is legal there, so you can pursue it openly. Consider staying at the Hotel Del Rey in San Jose, which attracts large numbers of independents. They pick up clients in the lobby, bars, and casino of the hotel, asking $60-100 for 1 hour or 1-2 pops and $200 for an all-nighter or multiple hours. The hotel charges a guest fee of $11 to bring them back up to your hotel room. Similar to the Del Rey is the Hotel Cocal in the Pacific beach resort of Jaco, about 90 minutes from San Jose.
There are also a number of "massage parlors," bars, and strip clubs in San Jose that effectively function in whole or in part as brothels (pimping is illegal there, although for some reason Costa Rican law does not consider these establishments a form of pimping). They have less selection than the Del Rey but the better ones often have greater quality control, and the rates are generally more reasonable (say, $40-60 per hour, plus $20 tip for BBBJ). The best establishments of this kind are Zona II and New Fantasy, the former of which is part of a hotel with a Cuban cigar lounge. One of the best parts of my trip was having girls at Zona II fuck my brains out for $40 and then heading to the cigar lounge to enjoy a Cuban cigar in the afterglow.
and at what price points. Two, if you don't know the language, then you need to find an English speaking provider or roll the dice with learning a few phrases.
