Sunday, Jan. 31

5:22 a.m.: A gasoline or other flammable liquid spill was reported on Alexander Avenue.

4:38 p.m.: A gas leak was reported on Park Road. National Grid will handle.

6:17 p.m.: A smoke scare was reported on Trapelo Road. Investigated the report of a chimney fire. The occupant had lit the fire without opening the flue damper. The damper was opened, and the house was ventilated to remove the smoke.

Thursday, Feb. 4

10 a.m.: A cooking fire was reported on Somerset Street. It was confined to a container.

4:44 p.m.: A cooking fire was reported on Mill Street. It was confined to a container.

Saturday, Feb. 6

1:18 p.m.: Arcing was reported on Country Club Lane. The incident was shorted electrical equipment. All companies responded to the location for a report of smoke from an electrical outlet. On arrival Engine 2 investigated and found no smoke or fire. The electrical breaker was found to be in the middle tripped position. Engine 2 shut down completely. Occupant told to have a licensed electrician service outlet prior to turning power on.
