V&A EXHIBITION:
Facing History is a new exhibition opening today at the V&A which sees prominent artists responding to the way portraiture has evolved over the last 20 years. Eighty prints and and photographs will be on display. Free, just turn up, until 24 April 2016

PONGATHON:

OUTDOOR THEATRE:
Enjoy an evening of outdoor theatre in the lovely surroundings of Jubilee Park in Canary Wharf. Tonight you can see Iolanthe by Iiyria, Gilbert and Sullivan’s most magical comic opera set half in Fairyland, half in Westminster and Iolanthe. CHEESE TASTING:
We can't think of a better way to spend a Monday evening than gobbling French cheese paired with wine all served up by foodies who know what they're talking about. No need to catch the Eurostar, just head to Vivat Bacchus in Farringdon. £20, prebook, 7pm

Head to Drink, Shop and Do in King's Cross to unleash your creativity on an unsuspecting tea towel. Tonight you'll be learning the art of screen printing and you get to take your masterpieces home with you. £17, prebook, 7pm

Prepare to be dumbfounded by Impossible at Noel Coward Theatre featuring a lineup of eight professional magicians who have been directed by Anthony Owen, the guy working his magic behind Channel Four's Derren Brown. QUIZ NIGHT:
Head to The Red Lion in Leytonstone for their regular quiz night which offers a £50 cash prize. Expect creative challenges, general knowledge, plus mystery rounds and the super hard bonus round. Free, just turn up, 7.30pm

SHUFFLE FILM FESTIVAL:
Shuffle Festival takes place in Tower Hamlets Cemetery and there's a variety of events ranging from art, performance and film. Tonight there'a a chance to see 127 Hours, a film telling the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston (James Franco) who got trapped under a boulder. Footprints of London is running fundraising walks for Amnesty International. This tour, led by David Brown, explores the life of reformers who lived in Hampstead and the radical approaches they took to solving the world's problems.
