  1. Come all you Gallant fishermen.
    I hope you will draw near and listen on to those few lines that I have written here.
    Concerning those poor Urris men.
    Who lately sailed away going to the herring fishing out in Lough Swilly bay. The four abreast they cast their nets a some herring for to find.
    Still hopes they would return again to their friends they left behind.
    But the wind increased and the storm araised as you may understand too of those boats with all their might made for the Fanad land.
    The third she been well manded no danger did she fear. They took her away to Leenan bay her course she chanced to stear.
    Provident proved kind to her as she had done before he took those gallant fishermen safe back to Leenan shore
    Its of the forth we do lament as you may understand struggling hard with all their might to make the Fanad land.
