Is that a lightsaber in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? The Star Wars Instagram has just posted a brand new clip from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and it features a geek-melting shot of Finn (John Boyega) lighting up a blue lightsaber.
That’s not any blue lightsaber though. That looks like the Skywalker Lightsaber. The one we saw in the second teaser passed to Leia. The one Obi-Wan Kenobi gave to Luke that Anakin owned. The one Darth Vader separated from Luke on Cloud City.
Plus, Finn seems to be showing down with Kylo Ren in the snow.
Could this be our first look at the next trailer rumored to be out in September? It seems pretty likely.
Also that shot of Rey (Daisy Ridley) with BB-8? So awesome. What is she worried about?
Maybe you didn’t hear but Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens December 18.
