A device that copies personal identification numbers was found attached to an ATM at a truck stop in Middlesex Township, according to police.
Police received a report of an ATM skimmer found at the Petro Truck Stop, 1201 Harrisburg Pike, on Monday.
The ATM with the skimmer attached to it was located near the front entrance of the truck stop. Anyone who has used this ATM should closely check bank statements for fraudulent activity and request a new card, police said.
The other ATMs on the site did not have skimmers attached to them, according to police.
Police encourage customers to inspect card readers on ATMs and gas pumps to make sure card skimmers are not attached.
