Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Gets a Case, the SCR40 Style Cover Stand

Just yesterday, we brought you news about the Sony SCR48 Style Cover Stand for the just-announced Sony Xperia M5. Acting as the bigger sibling to that phone, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra is also getting its own case. The Sony SCR40 Style Cover Stand is nearly identical between the two devices though thanks to some unique features, makes it more than your typical case.

Weighing at just 70 grams, the Sony SCR40 Style Cover Stand acts as a desk stand for the Xperia C5 Ultra and allows you to put the 6-inch phone in landscape mode so you can easily sit back and enjoy media on it. Perfect for gaming with Remote Play or watching movies. Thanks to a unique design, you’re also able to wake or put your phone to sleep by simply opening and closing the case.

The Sony SCR40 Style Cover Stand will in black and white when it launches later this month. Sony has yet to reveal any pricing.
