Floppy Drives Playing the National Anthem Will Leave You Misty-Eyed

Could there be any more beautiful way to honor America than programming eight floppy drives to play The Star-Spangled Banner in sync? If so, I haven’t found it.

Anand Jain, better known as “MrSolidSnake745,” is a guy who likes music, programming, and old hardware. His floppy drive ensemble has performed many a popular tune, including Star Wars’ Imperial March, the Game of Thrones theme song, and (my personal fav) Dj Darude’s Sandstorm. But today, Jay pays tribute to the U.S. of A., and he does so in the most nerdgasmly awesome way possible.
