Hey hey, it's the Monkees!
The famous 60s band is coming to central Pa. on Aug. 28 for an 8 p.m. concert at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster. Tickets are $69 and go on sale on May 30.
Known for their hits "Daydream Believer, "I'm a Believer" and "Last Train to Clarksville," the Monkees rose to fame through their self-titled television series, which premiered in 1965.
Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork are the only remaining members of the Monkees (Davy Jones died in 2012, while Michael Nesmith left the band in the 1970s). Before Jones' passing, the group had performed at the Hershey Theatre for part of their 45th anniversary tour.

Fans can expect to hear the hits as well as a few acoustic solos at the American Music Theatre show. There will also be a multi-media presentation featuring clips from the 1965 television series.
